Tinkoff’s new headquarters on the Moscow Canal to be built by Wainbridge
At the St Petersburg International Economic Forum 2019, Tinkoff and Wainbridge, a global development company, signed a letter of intent to take from 2022 a long-term lease of office premises in the AQUATORIA Business Centre, located on the bank of the Moscow Canal at 69, Leningradskoye Highway.
AQUATORIA Business Centre will become home to Tinkoff’s new headquarters of over 68,000 sq m, including a health and fitness centre of more than 3,000 sq m. This will be the ‘largest’ by value lease signed in the Moscow office market over the past two years.
The developer will invest ca. RUB 15 bn in construction to include design, lease and interior finishing works. Tinkoff Group plans to move to its new offices in 2022.
“Tinkoff is actively growing and evolving. We have already grown to be a full-blown ecosystem blending a full range of businesses that offer financial and lifestyle services to our customers. AQUATORIA will enable us to have all our teams from the Group’s various business lines in one place and provide a comfortable working environment in a modern hi-tech space at one of Moscow’s most picturesque locations,” said Oliver Hughes, Chairman of Tinkoff Bank’s Management Board.
“For a big company, an office is not just a trademark that projects the brand’s values, but also a cornerstone of effective business performance. Uniquely positioned near the city’s strategic transport mainline, AQUATORIA with its building size and mature infrastructure is a special offer on Moscow’s real estate market. I am happy to host such an innovative resident as Tinkoff,” said Kirill Pisarev, co-owner of Wainbridge.
